Occupational Therapist

Location: Multiple locations in Georgia

Role’s type: Contract/Full time/PRN/Per diem

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• The Occupational Therapist will work Full Time, Days, and will evaluate and treat patients in acute care, skilled nursing, short-term rehabilitation, and outpatient settings.
• Provides and directs all aspects of quality patient care, including evaluation and treatment, treatment planning, goal setting, family education, and documentation according to organizations guidelines, professional standards, and community needs.
• Serves as a patient and rehabilitation advocate for current and prospective patients, and to all internal and external customers.
• Actively participates in quality assurance and customer service activities for the rehabilitation department.

EDUCATION: Graduate of a program accredited by the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA)

EXPERIENCE:

• With Occupational Therapy, Experience is PREFERRED
• With Skilled Nursing, Experience is PREFERRED

LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS: California license to practice Occupational Therapy REQUIRED
